worldbuilding workbooks
an overview
I’ve designed these workbooks as a step-by-step guide with a ton of room dedicated to examples and references from popular fiction. Along with all of my examples and references, there’s space for you to put in notes about your own story - ideas and plans and abilities and concepts and brainstorms. I’ve included a worksheet to take notes on the most important info you discover for each step. You can see a sneak peak of a few of the pages on Etsy by clicking on the buttons above.
what they cover
Magic Systems: theme, system classes, hard or soft magic, source of magic, types of casting, mages and casters, abilities, magic in world-building, magical creatures, artifacts, and weapons, and magic in plot and character.
Characters: Character profiles, physical descriptions, clothing, habits, mannerisms, beliefs and fears, powers and abilities, talents, family and friends and relationships, story goal and motivation and their relationship to the theme.

where to find them
You can find them on my Etsy shop by clicking on the buttons above! Or you can sign up to my mailing list at the bottom of the page to get access to a free, downloadable PDF booklet on Magic Systems. This is a simplified version of my Magic System Workbook. It has the same information and tools, just without the space for your own notes and brainstorms, and a few less examples.
